Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi is the Executive Director of a national leading organisation in Nigeria, the Women Advocates Reaserch and Documentaton Centre (WARDC), a non-governmental organisation which focuses on the promotion of womens right's, goverance, human rights and the rule of law. She is a graduate of law with a Master's Degree in international Human Rights Law from the University OF Notre Dame, USA(1999) and a Doctoral student at the University of London with a specialization in women peace and security.
